Working between music, fashion, and commercial projects, Aidan Zamiri has quickly become one of the most exciting names in the creative industry. The Glasgow-born director and photographer is known for his unique visual language, where VHS-inspired aesthetics meet contemporary style. His work feels effortlessly cool and deeply intentional, since it’s always built around strong narratives.
Loving people and their stories is what truly motivates Aidan and keeps his work evolving. He is a multi-talented creative who began his career in graphic design before studying at Central Saint Martins in London. With a sharp Gen-Z vision, he naturally transitioned into photography and filmmaking, building a portfolio that feels fresh, modern, and culturally relevant.
In music, Aidan has collaborated with some of the most influential artists of his generation. He directed “Birds of a Feather” for Billie Eilish and has worked with FKA twigs, Shygirl, Yung Lean, PinkPantheress, Sega Bodega, and Caroline Polachek, among many others. His ability to translate sound into strong visual worlds has made him a key figure in contemporary music visuals.
His collaboration with Charli XCX became a major online success. Aidan was responsible for a large part of the visual storytelling behind the BRAT era, directing videos such as “Guess” and “360.” The video for “360” won Video of the Year and Best Pop Video at the UK Music Video Awards in 2024, marking a defining moment in his career.
In fashion, Aidan’s impact is just as powerful. He was named one of the British Fashion Council’s “50 most innovative and inspiring young creative talents worldwide” and was also featured in the Dazed 100 list. His work has appeared on the covers of major magazines such as Dazed, i-D, The Perfect Magazine, and Rolling Stone. One of his most iconic projects was the Rolling Stone December 2024 cover starring Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan, created for the film A Complete Unknown, delivering a beautiful and carefully crafted visual narrative.
Aidan has also worked with major fashion brands including Vivienne Westwood, JW Anderson, Nike, and Off-White. His playful aesthetic and bold visual choices make his work instantly recognizable and highly influential for visual storytellers working between fashion and music.
His latest project with Charli xcx, The Moment, is his first feature film as a director. Set to be released in January 2026 and distributed by A24, the film highlights Aidan Zamiri’s talent and shows how his creative vision continues to grow across different formats.
