If you know her from the backstage, it’s time to see her on stage.
Abby Keen, known as Absolutely, is not new to the music industry. Long before stepping into the spotlight, she was already building her name behind the scenes, writing for major artists like Anitta, Normani, and David Guetta. She contributed to tracks like Jesy Nelson’s “Boyz” and worked on projects involving Teddy Swims, GIVĒON, Tinashe, LISA of BLACKPINK, and Leigh-Anne. At the same time, her own voice started to gain space through collaborations with Louis The Child, Snakehips, Tiësto, Rudimental, and MARINA.
She grew up surrounded by music. In a creative family environment, her father taught her and her sisters how to sing, write, and record from an early age. She is also the sister of Grammy-winning artist RAYE, but Absolutely quickly proves she has her own identity and direction.
Her multicultural background, with a Ghanaian-Swiss mother and an English father, strongly influences her artistic vision. It reflects in the way she creates and in how hard it is to define her sound within just one genre. Her music blends pop, gospel, soul, and jazz, shaped by different references and by a strong connection to spirituality, something that has been part of her life since childhood.
In 2023, she released her debut album Cerebrum, a project that introduced her world with authenticity and freedom. The album moves between different moods, sometimes darker, sometimes more atmospheric, always exploring new directions. This same approach is reflected in her visuals and styling, where she constantly experiments and avoids limitations. There are no strict rules in the way she creates, which makes her work feel honest and instinctive.
Now at 22, she is entering a new phase. She joined RAYE once again on the This Tour May Contain New Music tour, performing in major arenas while continuing to grow her own audience. Alongside that, she released her second project, Paracosm.
With 13 tracks, Paracosm explores a space between fantasy and reality, creating an immersive and emotional listening experience. The album carries a sense of lightness and escapism, while still feeling personal. At times, it feels like being inside a dream, guided by the softness and strength of her voice. It is a project that brings both energy and calm at the same time.
One of the standout tracks, “No Audience,” captures an important moment in her journey. The song is about letting go of the need to perform for others and choosing authenticity instead. It reflects a sense of freedom, like being able to exist and create without expectations.
In 2026, she expanded her presence on stage, opening the European dates of Reneé Rapp’s Bite Me Tour, alongside her shows with RAYE. And this is where everything connects. On stage, Absolutely stands out. Her vocals are strong, her presence is natural, and there is something magnetic in the way she performs.
Absolutely is an artist who doesn’t just make music, she lives it. Just like her sister RAYE, you can feel that music is part of who they are, something natural, almost instinctive. And now, she is exactly where she needs to be: in the spotlight.
