Meet Joe Carayol
Barcelona-based stylist and fashion designer Joe Carayol is one of the most exciting names shaping fashion’s visual language right now. Known for his ability to blend archive gems, runway pieces, and cinematic storytelling, Joe creates looks that feel less like outfits and more like moments.

Originally from Tarragona and now based in Barcelona, Joe first started making noise after graduating from LCI Barcelona, where he was recognised as Top Talent at 080 Barcelona Fashion. From the start, his creative world was rooted in classic tailoring, corsetry, knitwear, and a love for punk and rock references, with early inspiration drawn from Vivienne Westwood.
What makes Joe’s work stand out is his eye for narrative. Every look feels intentional, layered with mood, movement, and emotion. Vintage lace, sculptural silhouettes, dramatic headpieces, and historical references all come together in a way that feels both nostalgic and completely now.
His career has moved fluidly between fashion, film, and costume design, building a visual language that is instantly recognisable. From working within the team of acclaimed designer Manuel Bolaño to developing his own creative signature, Joe’s work always carries a strong sense of identity.
More recently, he has become the creative mind behind some of Rosalía’s most unforgettable fashion moments, especially throughout the artist’s Lux era. By mixing archive treasures with runway looks from houses like Chanel, Vivienne Westwood, and Alexander McQueen, Joe turns every appearance into a full visual statement.
His styling doesn’t just dress the artist, it builds a world around them. Every frame feels cinematic, every silhouette tells a story, and every look moves like a character of its own.
Joe Carayol is part of a new generation redefining what styling looks like today, where fashion meets storytelling, emotion, and culture in real time.
