Meet Ariel Quirino
Ariel Quirino is one of the most influential voices behind the scenes in Latin music, a visionary who’s been shaping careers for over a decade.

Born in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, Ariel’s journey started far from the big music capitals, but his ambition and passion led him to become a key connector between Brazilian and Latin music scenes. He began as a fan, owner of a fan club that organised fan actions for all her concerts, who wasn’t afraid to voice his opinions, even when they were negative. As a fan of Dulce María’s, he often questioned the then management decisions and openly suggested improvements, from pushing record labels to better promote music videos, to advising on song choices for TV appearances. This fan perspective soon evolved into a hands-on role, eventually leading him to become her public relations and personal manager.
Now, his work has been recognised internationally as he was featured in Forbes Colombia and Forbes Chile for bridging the gap between Portuguese and Spanish through art and music.
As the founder and CEO of AriPrensa, Ariel moves between Mexico City, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, cultivating relationships and personally creating projects that unite the Latin music world. His agency has become a reference for artists wanting to tell authentic stories that blend both sides of the border.
AriPrensa’s roster reads like a who’s who of Latin and Brazilian talent: Wanessa Camargo, Jade Baraldo, Claudia Leitte, Simaria, Wesley Safadão, Rebecca, Vitão, Bruna Griphao, Kevin O Chris, Kawe, Flay, TZ da Coronel, Tília and many more. Ariel’s strategic vision has helped create powerful collaborations like Dulce María & MC Danny & Rebecca & Fariana, and Claudia Leitte & Joey Montana, projects that not only blend languages but cultures, making Latino music richer and more diverse.
One of Ariel’s proudest achievements was placing Dulce María on the cover of Rolling Stone Brasil, making her the first Mexican artist to grace this iconic publication. This milestone showcases his talent for breaking new ground and opening doors for artists crossing cultural and linguistic borders. He is also credited with securing TZ da Coronel’s cover for Harper’s Bazaar Brazil, spotlighting the funk artist in the high-fashion scene.
Ariel is also a passionate advocate for funk, seeing it as one of Brazil’s most vital musical expressions. He believes in spreading the genre beyond national borders, showing the world the power and diversity of Brazilian culture. One of the main examples of this merging work is the collaboration between Dulce María & MC Kevin o Chris.
For Ariel, PR is much more than managing an image. As he puts it, “My work is not just about managing image: I share knowledge, provoke thought, seek references and care for every detail that strengthens the public discourse of those I represent.”
Living between three of Latin America’s most dynamic cities keeps Ariel plugged into the culture and the pulse of the music industry. After more than ten years building AriPrensa, his mission remains clear: to unite Latin and Brazilian music through powerful stories and authentic connections.
Whether you’re vibing to a new Brazilian funk track or discovering a fresh Latin pop star, chances are Ariel Quirino helped shape the story behind the scenes.
