Marina Vishmidt
If earlier cartografhy was a property of specialists, now it forms the basis of unique emotional, cognitive, linguistic and scientific experiences. It turned into a concept, that subordinates different paradigma. We all are the hostages of "visual culture" - the main achievement of our information century. That is why the convertation of information into a picture became the clue tool of Media. Just look around and you will see that everybody is making skeleton maps.

016/Less than zero
Ekaterina Tumina
Like intercellular liquid or placenta neutrals want feel comfortable everywhere. Cosmopolitan euro-trash wearing unisex clothes and hanging around without any need all over the world - are usual neutrals. Step by step they substitute value of the targeted consumerism by the ordinary neutral one - and buy on credit a 60GB Ipod and a washing machine. If there was a chance the neutrals would rebuild their organisms so that they don't crap - and all that for the sake of the eurorennovation aesthetism.

Creative organizations, working in different fields, - from trade and music to advertising and multimedia, - prefer to support one another. They even create their studios on the same territory, where they create a kind of energetic centre. That is how appeared Soho in London, SoFo in Stockholm, Kalio in Finnland, Tribeca in New York. Antwerp is famous for its galaxy of designers, Manchester became a city of graphic design, Bristol got the fame of a center of alternative music. Russia doesn't drop behind.

040/The camera Samadhi
Nail Gareev
The first thing I felt when after having closed the door, was "What is happening?", "Am I all right?", "Who am I?", but my panic slowed down without getting really strong. I began to feel my body dissolving apart and from time to time I touched the side of the camera with my palm. And then I realized that that illusive feeling of a touch and my receptors, left for the first time without "food", don't obey. I wanted to breath deeply, my body got relaxed and I set free my mind.

048/An island of purple sunset
Maria Bulgakova
Only here a middle-aged and flabby American could allow himself get a beautiful mulatto, because it is cheep. Some people come here only for this reason. Other tourists study guide-books, subscribe to tobacco factories and curiosities associated with Fidel Castro. And the island lives its own life. Baradero is just a resort, beaches for foreign people. You cross the border and get an absolutely new reality: food ration card and the windows without glasses. It's an island of double morality.

054/Poets choose FBI
Dmitry Pimenov
And what a board of honour we have! There are Pushkin (one has a documentation of recruiting - a poem of the wrongly forgotten poet Juri Vlodov). Lermontov (just read some caucasian poems - sometimes it is a legend of the introduction of a spy into the bands). Martynow (a representativ of 19th century, not of the 20th) was the favorite poet of Venechka's most lyric heroe from the "Walpurgis night". Tutchev was a diplomat. Alexander Wertinski - his portrait of an honourable worker is hanging in our museum FBI at the entrance. Even Sergej "Spider" Troicki is a misucian and producer and not very long ago he became a writer.

064/Deus ex machinà
Igor Romanov
What is modern intellectual electro music? A concept, intellect, sound-design, turned into digital format, or is it the same traditional base for mental experiments? The active representatives of a modern advance-guard experimental scene tried to answer this bombastic but also daily question: a specialist in guitar noises Fennels, one of the biggest figures of the Californian experimental Techno Shaun Hatfield (his second name Twerk) and Robert Henke - the author of the project Monolake.
