The Blue issue.
pdf (17,4M)
Not everything blue is sad, and not everything that is blue is sad. Hardly
every sad person considers himself gay, and vice versa. Moreover, not
everything blue is gay and not everything sad causes sadness. Not
everything permanent is truly permanent and everyone isn't really so different
from everyone else. And this issue ended up being not as blue as is written on
the cover.
About the Meaning of Life and All
Alla Gugel
Vlad Mamishev-Monroe, the human-art-object who reenacted
all the most noted figures of history and mythology from Jesus,
Buddha, and Dracula, to Shtirlitz and Marilyn Monroe, tells of
his consequential sexual orientation with tiredness, frowning at
any definition or sexual distinction. Most important however, is
the sincerity of the painter - real emotions exist regardless of
the colour of love.
The last escape route
Sophie Engstrom
One day, more then 10 years ago, Ingvor Blom came home
and found her dead boyfriend. He had committed suicide. They
were both a couple in the middle of their life, with promising
careers and economical situation. They had just bought a new
house close to the sea. But as a flash from a clear blue sky her
boyfriend committed suicide.

Power over homosexuality
Andre Andreev
In Russia before the 17th century, homosexual relationships
were not punished - they existed as a socially unchallenged
phenomenon. However, the building of the centralized government
forced rulers to create laws against 'otherness'. Only thus
can the vertical line of power exist: by forbidding, it controls
everybody. This is its inhuman way to receive higher ratings.

True blue
Barry Jenkins
Is homosexuality embodied more in a physical act or in one's
opinion of their sexual self? Judging by Van Sant's decisions - it
would seem unwise for a homosexual director to posit a film
with so vicious a crime on the dogged notion of latent homosexuality
manifesting itself through violence.
The Gay-Guide, Moscow
Mari Sirosh
