ГОЛУБОЙ НОМЕР
Не все голубое - грустное, и не все что грустное - голубое. Далеко не каждый грустный человек считает себя голубым, и наоборот. Более того, далеко не все голубое - голубое и не все грустное вызывает грусть. Не все постоянное так уж постоянно и не все другие настолько отличаются от остальных других.Вот и этот номер получился совсем не такой голубой, как написано на обложке.
Влад Монро рассказал нам, отчего так грустят русские геи, а Андрей Андреев заглянул в попытки русской власти подчинить человеческие отношения геев закону аж с 1715 года. THE BLUE ISSUE
Not everything blue is sad, and not everything that is blue is sad. Hardly every sad person considers himself gay, and vice versa. Moreover, not everything blue is gay and not everything sad causes sadness. Not everything permanent is truly permanent and everyone isn’t really so different from everyone else. And this issue ended up being not as blue as is written on the cover.
Vlad Monroe told us why Russian gays are so sad, and Andrei Andreev looked into the attempts of the Russian government to legally control the behavior of gays already since 1715. As to why there are taboos in society about suicidal thoughts and what lies behind them, read the article of Sophie Engström.

Nodiktat is a graphic kolkhoz. It’s an informal collective of designers dedicated to bring together creative people so they will share their projects, ideas, graphic world and culture. The designer’s pool is, for now, spread out from Nice to Brussels and is willing to expand itself with new contributors through projects submissions on Nodiktat’s blog. So don’t be surprised to find graphic designers cultivating the Larzac plains, illustrators popping up from polders and doodle makers al’arabiatta. We’re very pleased to be part of this happy, visionary and international chaos.
Anyone can point up its work through the blog, photo and video galleries. Even better: Users can shout out how much they love – or not! – what they’ve been proposed. And always in a simple and funky way!!
Finally, Nodiktat will edit the community’s artwork on different supports such as tshirts, wallstickers and posters… You’ll find all the products by visiting Nodiktat’s shop . Every designer can submit his or her design. The decision board will debate around the aperitif, edit the product and give royalties to authors.

Думаю о том, что Antony ел на завтрак. Представляю звук телефона в его комнате. Мысли сменяют одна другую и обрываются мягким мужским голосом.

"Привет. Могу я услышать Antony?"
"Это я. Я как раз ждал твоего звонка."
"Ты в настроении для интервью?"

ElectroSound is a netlabel, based in Moscow/Russia producing non-profit releases that can be described as “emotional electronic music” inspired by various emotional states: from ambient to idm, from micronoise to deep techno and acoustic jazz...
Rombix is a project of Roman Voronovskiy, quite perspective musician from Moscow, Russia, that certainly will not be lost in the eclectic international experimental scene. Roman makes his music pure analog way, using hand-made cassette loops, vinyl and tape recorders.
Minimalism, soft glitch, elements of jazz, ambient and even abstract hip-hop are the basic components of Rombix. Add here amusing samples of russian speech and common romantic mood, that makes such a pleasant singularity with self-esteem.

N\osztalgia – culture of memory.
Today’s collective memory of the socialist past often shifts between the extremes of demonizing or idealizing that period. The international project n\osztalgia focuses on the various aspects of this idealization expressed by pure mystification from parts of the elder generation or – a new phenomenon – by playful deconstruction of the highly charged symbolism of the East from the younger generation. Aim of the project is to investigate and to critically question the n\osztalgia wave in different countries.
There are various dimensions of n\osztalgia and countless topics connected to it: cult-objects and devices, consumerism, popular culture and media, every life traditions and habits, urban spaces and landscapes, philosophy and ideas, and many more you are invited to add. The project plans to explore how they continue to live further in our minds, discourses, representations, grocery stores, flea markets, radio studios, how they create fans and provoke enemies

55 PERSON
MiaMia (1980) was born as Maria Cristina Fazecas in Oradea, a city in Romania, just past the border of Hungary. In 1988, a two-day traintrip brought her to The Netherlands.There she studied industrial design and later audiovisual journalism. Nowadays MiaMia is determined to combine poetry with sound, by making soundscapes. After participating in a few PoetrySlams, she thinks poetry should be taken on a different level then paper and stage. At late spring MiaMia will record an album. 55 magazine asked MiaMia some questions about 2007 year, poetry and documentaries.
How did 2007 started up for you?
Well, it started with cheap peach champagne. Then, just a few minutes after midnight, a piece of firework hit my head and caused a bump. I thought: "This will be a lucky year", because it didn't hit my eyes. And then, like every year, the days that followed I was consumed with the question: "What is it that I really want?".I think it will be an interesting year, trying to find some answers.
What's the most musical poem/poet for you?
At the moment I enjoy moments. I mean, I watch, I listen, I observe…In every second of the day lays poetry. And in every piece of poetry lays a certain musical quality. A lot of beautiful, exciting and intriguing poetry has been written and recorded during the centuries, and yet, I cannot name specifically just one or two which I think is the most musical. I could say Kurt Schwitter's Úrsonate, because of its expression, its exaggeration, its absurdism, its almost scientifical approach of speech. I could also name Tristan Tzara and for example his 'Mouvement' because of it's exotic richness, it's playfulness and its melody. Yes, I could name those. But there's also this one poem, which reminds me very much of my grandpa, who used to know it inside and out and read it to me when I was little. It's called 'Singuratate' which means loneliness. It's a melancholic poem by Mihai Eminescu, which to me sounds like a comforting lullaby.
What is the most poetical song/musician you like to listen to?
Joanna Newsom. Pure lyrical poetry. Also the album Les Fleurs by Marsen Jules... And Japanese electro-minimalists are genius! But this can change from day to day.
What inspires you in your city, in the place where you live?
People. The old houses. The river.
If you were asked to make a 5min documentary - what would it be about?
Eyes and facial expression.

Семнадцать человек из разных мегаполисов описали свое настоящее и будущее в мире фруктов и овощей. Читатели 55 станут даже свидетелями дуэли между Арбузом и Тыквой в 4014 году, законспектированной Павлом Пепперштейном.
Барри, ведущий рубрики 55 video, рассказал об авангарде Чарли Кауфмана в голове-тыкве Джона Малковича.55 также съездил в Берлин и расспросил музыканта Эндрю Пеклера о его концепции овощного бытия. А в Лондоне мы стали свидетелями «апгрейда вечного настоящего» в Королевской Академии Искусств на выставке «USA Today».
Заодно 55 повидался в Европе с парой братских журнальных проектов и их создателями. Знакомьтесь: PLOTKI – издание о культурной и общественной жизни Центральной и восточной Европы. И MUTE – британский журнал, глубоко погружающийся в культуру и политику современного посткапиталистического общества.
Seventeen people from different megapolii described their present and future in the world of fruit and vegetables. The readers of 55 will become witnesses of the duel between Watermelon and Pumpkin in the year 4014, epitomized by Pavel Peppershtein.
Barry, the host of the 55 video rubric, told us about the avant-garde of Charlie Kaufman in the head-pumpkin of John Malkovich. 55 also went to Berlin and asked the musician Andrew Pekler about his concept of the vegetable existence. And in London, we witnessed "the upgrade of the eternal present" in the Royal Academy of Arts in the exhibition of USA Today.
At the same time, 55 met in Europe with a pair of brother-journal projects and their creators. Introducing: PLOTKI – a publication on the cultural and social life of Central and Eastern Europe. And MUTE – a British journal, deeply immersed into the culture and politics of the modern post-capitalist society.

Пластинки с сухим минимал техно и унылым нео-фолком будут преданы огню, мальчики и девочки снова начнут сходить с ума на дискотеках под звуки семидесятых и песни свежесозданных ансамблей, а снобы и эстеты перестанут считать танцы под фанк моветоном… В этот самый момент имя Джеймса Брауна вернёт себе своё настоящее значение, избавишись от всех излишних званий, скрывавших его последние десятилетия. Сохранив, пожалуй, лишь одно…
